Tiny Hero, Big Adventure: The Spirit and the Mouse now on PlayStation in Both English and Japanese
Ready to experience the electrifying life of a supercharged mouse? Your dreams are about to light up with The Spirit and the Mouse, that lovable indie game we couldn’t stop gushing about back in September. Now, it’s officially available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5!
In this game, you’re no ordinary rodent. You’re Lila, a brave little mouse who acquires a shocking set of new powers after climbing a very high rod and being struck by a thunderstorm (not really the smartest thing to do!) Alongside her new acquaintance, Lumion, who’s trying to get back into the sky, Lila embarks on a mission to bring joy, light, and balance back to the quaint French village she calls home.
Also available in Japan!
Here’s some good news for our friends in Japan too – thanks to a collaboration between the game’s developer, Alblune and Teyon Japan, you’ll also get to play in your language! The Spirit and the Mouse is launching for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in your region too, so no one has to miss out on this charming adventure.
This game is about more than zapping around though – it’s a heartwarming tale of kindness and friendship and I’m here for it. You’ll be collecting happiness to power up Lila’s abilities and brighten up her world. It’s a cozy escape that reminds us all to take a breather and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. With so many games focused on slashing zombies, this is a welcome change, truly.
Again, you can pick this little gem up on PlayStation 4 and 5 for $19.99 USD, and will soon be on Nintendo Switch in Japan (more information on that to come, I suppose). Let us know in the comments if you’re going to take part in this cute indie game or if you’re hoping to see more gameplay and such first.
